I had been busy working at a company called “illusio” in Dubai for about a month now, and the two things that I m doing or was doing were the website and the brochure. The website is live now. You can see it in action here.

It’s not a very big website, and the biggest challenge in this website was the content. Which one would feel is still missing from alot of places, since the company is not willing to do the copywriting again, and they have a very scattered record of their old projects, though things are being skimmed on that part.

I m hoping to complete the brochure soon too.

I was out of the office last weekend, and boy it was so much fun.

We went to a dance club, and got out of there at around 3 in the morning, and it was a pretty good expereicne, I m not the kind of guy who would hit on every other girl, I already have one, so I just danced with the people I went there with, and most of them were from my office.. Awesome expereince.

We then went to Tauseef’s apartment in Ajman, which I should say is pretty good compared to our living place, which is not big, we dont stay much home either, but then again, it feels good to have a big living place, any how, we went to Tauseef’s house, and had some fun, but then slept so we could go to the pool in the morning, and then it tuns out we woke up at around 4 pm the next day.. boom boom pooo !

We had to skip the pool idea and went other places instead, roamed around, and then went to watch Max Payne.. what a bad idea ! The movie doesn’t live up to it’s hype at all, first it tries to look like it’s some kind of a horror flick, but then it’s not. The movie is pretty slow, and doesn’t seem to be able to build it’s story line properly. Honestly, my opinion is that it’s not really worth the money, so download it and watch it instead of visiting the cinema

Yeah that’s what I mean, and first off, I m kind of missing Babrus, here in Dubai, but I hope he settles what he went karachi for.

Anyways, most of the stuff is the same here as it was, same old 9-6 work routine.. Crap.. Why one would ask.. I m in Dubai man, and I don’t even know dubai properly.. shit man…

It’s the usual work routine hee, same old getting up 8 and getting all ready, watchign my CEO play World of Warcraft.. I m not much a fan of games, cept that I love playing Need for Speed Carbon, that we donot have here.

So what I do is when we’re done with the work, we either sit outside our apartments in the open air, ad discuss things, or go out to the nearby mall.. Or sit at the office and use the internet.. man this wasn’t the kind of life I liked, but its’s a bachelors life.. I mean I can do alot, but I wold prefer not to.. I’ve got my own reasons for that.

Anyways, I felt I shold write all that crap for no reason.. bye.

Incase you’re going to question the random map on the above image, that is the percentage of poverty in the world right now, as can be shown on the left.

As for the issue of poverty in general. We usually take things for granted, think about our own problems and consider them very big, take a look at the corporate mess for example, you’ll see everyone wants a piece of a pie, but no one wants to pay for it. It’s a normal yet not normal way of thinking.

Take a look at the nature, we’ve eaten it up, without thining about the consequences, we are the selfish beings we thought we are not. yet we stand at a global problem, where food and resources are getting scarce ay by day, and not so slowly humans are dying of hunger, and rot on the land.

What would you say ? If you were one of them ? I honestly wouldn’t say much, because not many would listen, regardless how hard I screamed for help, only a few gifted people on the planet actually take the iniitative to help others.

On this day, I would like to use this oppurtunity to urge people that please for god sake consider what we do, and act, and how we waste the resoueces, we could instead send that to those who need it most. The medicines, food supplies, clothing and what not. We know many people don’t live in a house, simply because they cannot afford it, so they live directly under the sun and the moon. Without shelter, few pieces of cloth, no food and very little drinkable water, the life of one becomes very pathetic. So please, please think about how we can help those who need our support the most. This world is our mother, and the humans are it’s children, that makes the poor our rothers and sisters, and humans look after each other, specially the loved ones, it’s time that we help our brothers and sisters who need us.

I was being a lazy chap and staying in the office most of the time, but any how since one of my uncle (my moms bro) and his family was around and they had planned to take me out, as it’s been around a week since I’ve been in Dubai and haven’t been out !

So any how, we went out today, finally after the namaz timings, my uncle came to pick me up, and so started the journey, we went through a long route to emirates mall, and boy I think saw some awesome things on the road, the beautiful buildings, the awesome new tracks for the (in the city) train, the beautiful roads and cars. And then the all itself, the people there, and the beautiful you know what.. Oh and I loved the gadgets there.. and honestly I’d like to thank that uncle for forcing me to buy something, even though I didn’t want to, but still they got me a T-shirt. Thanks fo that and the awesome dinner too.

I also enjoyed the snow area at the emirates mall, not only was it a time to connect with my cousins well, we also had lots of fun there. All snow, low temperatures and loads of fun !

Then we headed off for dinner which was plain delicious ! Thanks mamo and mami !

Any how, we enjoyed the whole trip, or atleast I did….

It’s actually been like a week since I dropped in Dubai, but I didn’t get the time to write something, I know that may some of you off, but apology is all I can offer right now !

Any how, I flew here to assist a company “Illusio” in their design department, and it’s been a good ride so far.

I didn’t get to meet all my relatives in this time period, even though I met some of them, today again, I’ll be out visitng some of my relatives, because while I m living here, I might need their attention and they might need mine, so it’s good to keep up with them.

As for me being here, right now it’s going to be a short term, ut probably stretch to full scale soon.

Then this company Illusio, has finally given me a mac to work with, my last work space had all PC’s this is one of the things that I actually like about this place. And again the people are fun to be with, even the head guy is awesome as in he’s a full time funkie guy with the employees.

Since it’s Dubai and you’ll see alot of people around that belong to different parts of the world, it’s interesting to know some of them, and again some of is not so good, but overall it’s been a good experience.

Then my family back in Karachi has been missing me alot, much more than I m missing them, I know they love me more than I do, it’s kind of obvious ! My parents gave birth to me, and most creators love their creation. Mom and dad I love you.. and you my little sis ! One of my coolest friend is also probably missing me in Pakistan, yah it’s the one and only cool guy: Asim. miss you too man. oh and his bro’s here too. There’s two more important people I m missing.. M lady and uzey. Love both of you too… M lady, Love you alot !

Oh I just forgot, I m with babrus, one of the coolest folks I know, he’s a little down lately, I know some of the reasons, but I m not going to share them. also his uncle passed away yesterday, a moment of silence and prayers for him please.

This post is around 10 minutes before I leave house for the air port, though I’ve been thinking of writing a post for about days now, but sadly, the bad part is that I was either too lazy to do so, or I actually was busy doing something. So any how, I m about to be leaving for Dubai in around some time now.

Things have been great recently, specially the people around me, and the people who I know even for a short time. I would like to thank all these people for being so kind to me, these include Uzey, Fahd, Hassan, Najam, Omair, Furqan, Zair and all the people from my last working place, I would also like to show my middle finger to my best buddy Asim, because we hate saying thanks to each other, so the middle finger does the trick Love ya dude and there’s one more person I’d like to thank, the M Lady, I love her.

I’ve also been blessed with a good family who loves and prays from me all the time, thanks so much mom and dad and my sweet sis.

Oh and how can I forget, my last project TimeSvr, is live, I mean it was live before too, but the new design that I worked on is now online, you can check it out here.

It’s also the second day of Eid today, and honestly the first one went fine, I was actually watchign movies
