Yesterday, at work I got a new computer, a new desk, a new location, Even though the computer and the desk is lovely, I m not such a fan of the location ! Besides the location, all’s good… the badness? I can’t use Thunderbird there !

Other than that, things are pretty awesome, infact I even got my salary, half of which has already been drowned in a sea of crap

Any how, since everything seems better, even my sis, which is good, I took my family out on a treat.. yep they were asking for one, I should be the one getting a treat

It was good to say the least. Had fun, lots of it, and I had one of my best friend’s with me ! Asim.

i m running off now, catch up later. My mind’s not in the right proportion !

Never mind that, I m acting like a moron already, you see less sleep leaves me drained !

Yes I was at office again, and late, I thought I’d leave but surprise surprise, no means of transport..DAMN !

Had to come back to the office work a little more and sleep, then wake up again, and work more.. oh hell ! But it was worth it, ya know I left the office at 1 pm. Woah !

Any how, after that the day was slow..should’ve stayed at the office

I have some friends telling me, they’re feeling pretty down..i tried calling, and they were either sleeping or un available…WTF ! Will call again, I hope to get them back in their spirits ! wish me luck !

Work, work and less play makes any sane person a bad boy…or girl !

Yeah I’ve been working late these days, and honestly it’s nice to work late, specially if you’re employed by CC. You can put on great music, have some cool things to eat, get drunk on soft drinks, or make coffee or tea, you have internet at your disposal, yes so it’s a great place to work !

Now, even though I enjoy that place, I feel I’ve been missing out the good things in my personal life, like say, my friend has been ill for quite some time, and I still haven’t found time to visit him, which makes him pretty mad I tell ya !

And even though Saturday is a holiday for us, me and H-N were working at the office ! My plans were ruined

Also I was supposed to see my friend today (the one who’s ill) but something else came up from Asim, so I guess I’ll go see him some other day !

18th November, 2007. The evening in Khayaban-e-Itehad would have been the normal life for everyone else ! But those who dropped by The Second Floor - Karachi, had the treat of the day. Gunaah’s birthday bash was all that we gathered for and got the joy of listening to three bands, one of those for whom we have special respect as being of the best underground acts in Pakistan.

The show starts with Achanak (the band), performing their orignals and covers from Aerosmith and Aaroh, honestly the covers were far better than the original, though they raped one of the cover too. Surprizingly they got to do more socializing with modern chicks than the other bands

We then had Gravity get the spirits of the audience high and rocking with an awesome start of a classical ‘Tarana‘, they even performed covers from Junoon and Sajjad Ali, but the most rocking acts were their originals. From the covers they did, both sounded awesome, much better than what Achanak could’ve done. They were actually to do all this unplugged, but on the last moment decided to do it plugged and rocking ! And they did good !

Then we had the final act of the day, Gunaah took the center stage ! Started off with Nishaan from Noori and then moved to Bolo bolo and other tracks, but, yes, but the most rocking performance came from their cover of Psycho of System of a Down, and also their original ‘Talaah -e- Noor’, which also has a very special place for me ! I really love that song !

Even with major sound problems and Gunaah managed to pull out a great show, for musicians and the audience alike, and there’s no doubting that Gunaah is here to stay, for a very very long while !

For those who donot know, here’s the current line up of Gunaah :
Hassaan Sarwar - Vocals/Screams, Qumber Kazmi - Drums, Yasir Siddiqui - Bass, Zain Kazmi - Guitars.

It’s been ages since I last blogged, and the most sincere (and probably also the lamest) excuse I can give right now is that I dont have an internet connection at home and I dont blog from my work place, but since I had a little time I thought I should today, maybe that’ll also make some people happy.

Any how, I’m having some really good days now, I attended H-N’s Gig, which went pretty good, except for some little things, and he’s too happy about it too, and then I have a new blogger friend, I dont know much about her though !

On the other hand, my work is going awesome and I m loving every moment I spent at my work place, secondly I got all my official letters yesterday, which makes me feel to give everyone a treat… but you know I m just kiddin

Any how I m going to be writing a review for H-n’s gig next !

My Parents.
The most important people of my life, without them I probably wouldn’t have had the life, I have today, thanks for taking care of me while I was little, and nourishing me, and guiding me through this path of life, and then supporting me when I took my stands ! Thank you very much, I know I will never be able to thank you enough, but still, this is just a little token of appreciation from me !

M Girl.
Yes that M girl I’ve known since grade 5th, and fell for her love in grade seven, thanks for coming in my life, and changing things, my view and perspective. I know you’ll always be here for me, and I’ll always be there for you !

Asim Saeed.
The one guy I trust most apart from the above two, not only is he a friend I’ve known for years, but both of us have actually been through almost the same things, we’ve been happy together and we’ve been in bad times together too. I know i never say thanks to you, since that’s our rule, but for once, I m really grateful !

Hassaan Sarwar.
Another of my greatest friends, with lots of things in common and he’s a guy, I’ve been hanging out alot ! Even though I haven’t done much for him, he’s done alot ! Thanks man ! I wish you all I can for you and your band and career

Najam -ur- Rehman.
This dude, whom we (Hassaan and me) refer to as our stripper boy, is one hell of a dude to be around with, since he’s in Dubai working his bums off, we’re really missing him…come back home !

Arooj Zafar.
This is one lady that I don’t know in person, but she sure is a person who brings the little smile on my face, that I wish I’d always have on my face (though it sometimes looks odd), thanks for bearing to all my stupid jokes and text, I really appreciate you being here !

Uzma Ghazanfer Ali.
Uzma, a girl I came to know through an art community (deviantart.com), and since then we’ve been friends, throwing odd jokes at each other, fighting over nonsense and helping out when time called ! Uzey, girl thanks for dropping on my page

Creative Chaos Staff.
I m thankful to them for accepting me into their system and looking at my horrible work ! I thank them for being supportive and helpful all the time, I really enjoy being there, thank you all !

Ansaruddin Wasif.
He’s an inspiration, and that’s not something to be surprised at ! This guy has the work and talent like no other, and his work has alot of times inspired me ! Thanks for the inspiration and heads up Ansar !

Phahim.
This funky fella, met him only a small amount of times, but I know he’s inspired me too, and lots of time, check out his work to know why I m thanking him !

Raheel Lakhani.
The owner of Pakdeviants community on deviantart, I m so happy I know him, why you may ask, he’s the guy who’s going to be there looking out when you’re digging the treasure He’s one supportive guy and doesn’t really takes offence on most things I say !

Fahad Paracha.
This humpy bumpi kid knows photography like crap, though he’s become a good friend, with nice ideas and all, there no reason why he doesn’t deserve gratitude !

Babrus Khan.
This guy has a thousand names ! The one thing I know is I m not going to get bored when I am anywhere near him, his short but cranky stories are going to help you laugh your intestines out ! Cheers bro !

I was happily shopping for some sneakers in the market with H-N in Saddar, when suddenly out of no where comes a man and tells the shop keeper ‘Do you know anything about the Marshal law?’ before the shop keeper even said a word I asked him ‘What marshal law ? where?’, ‘In Pakistan janab, Pakistan is back in trouble’, thats what he said !

My first impression was that either this guy is an idiot for no reason, or there are some stupid rumors going around, as soon as I reach home, my mom tells me the same thing, now this gets me a little curious, TV ain’t working.damn !

I go online, and since H-N is with me, he looks a little online and searches for some clues (he was much more concerned, he has gigs lined up !), so any how, Yes Pakistan has Marshal law, yet again ! I hope this goes away soon, and we come out of this emergency situation, this basically sucks !

I’ve never really cared much about politics, and I’ve never been on either sides of Bush-Mush bashing ! But such happening did raise my eyebrow ! I m not a supporter of any political group, nor do I enjoy political talks, but this my friends is just too much !

Please let us live normal lives, and it’s a call from one idiot Pakistani to not only the president, but to all the people, who make world a bad place to live ! ‘Live and let live !’ God bless this world, and the people of this world ! Ameen.

ISLAMABAD, Nov 3: President General Pervez Musharraf, in his capacity as the chief of army staff, on Saturday declared emergency rule in the country, suspended the country’s constitution, and issued a new Provisional Constitutional Order (PCO).

This is the second time in General Musharraf’s tenure that an emergency rule has been imposed, and PCO issued. First it was at the time when the military seized power on October 12, 1999. This time it was when President Musharraf had already ruled the country for eight long years, and was faced with a situation where there was a strong possibility that the Supreme Court may rule against his move to get himself elected for the second time as the head of the state.

It’s not really chaos, it was my first day at Creative Chaos today I am so happy, so very happy. I definitely now know the reason, why H-N doesn’t want to leave this place, and he’s right, this place is an awesome place to work.

For one thing, they have growth, and not only do they grow as a company, they do so as every single individual too ! I figured that in one day, since it’s the people at the organization that actually make it the organization it is !

Any how, I m loving this place and the people there are great, I had a great time there today, and even though I m blogging from home right now, uncle H-N is still at work…  and he’s gonna come late tomorrow !
